Frequently Asked Questions
What is a “Worldview?
A “Worldview” can be defined as that which you believe which in turn makes you walk, talk and do all that you do, in the manner in which you do it. It has been said that words have consequences. What is really being said is that the words we use are a result of what we believe. What we believe determines what we do and what we do has consequences.
What we believe (our worldview) is the accumulation of our environment, our family, our jobs and our religious training. All worldviews are less than perfect or fully informed worldviews.
If I already have a “worldview”, why do I need to go to Worldview Training Conferences?
As already stated, our worldview is the result of the sum total of information received from many sources. Some good and some not so good. Sometimes it isn't what we know but what we don't know that allows our worldview to be less than what it could be. For example, the “separation of church and state” issue. Do you know the facts around that issue or have you just accepted what has been said by an uninformed person as fact? Has your worldview been affected by a liberal education agenda that was suggested in the Humanist Manifesto I, II or 2000? Has your worldview been misinformed by a liberal Media? Does the Media really have an “agenda” to misinform us? Are you able to “read between the lines” or discern what “you are not being told?” These are just a few of the questions and discussion that will take place during Worldview training.
What does this training include?
This is a minimum of 12 classroom hours of training broken down into 3 phases of 4 hours each. For a list of subject matter that will be covered please see the “Course Outline” tab under the Worldview header.
What does it cost?
The cost for the conferences may vary depending upon where the conferences are held. The registration fees will range from $29.95 per phase to a discounted registration fee of $19.95 per phase if training is done at a church facility when a minimum of 30 people are registered.
Where are the conferences held?
You will need to check the website conference site tab to view where and when conferences are currently scheduled.
Conferences will generally be scheduled at a local conference center or motel conference meeting room. This limits class size to the first 50 registrants. We will schedule training for a church when a minimum of 30 people are registered.
Conferences may be done in various ways. We can do a Friday night and Saturday to include all 12 hours or it can be done in 2 or 3 sessions on weekends as agreed upon.
When I complete all 3 phase what will I have accomplished?
At the conclusion of each phase (4 hours) each participant will be issued a Certificate of Completion. When a participant completes all 3 phase they will have accumulated an 85 plus page workbook and listings of many resources for future use.
Our goal is not that you just accumulate knowledge but also confidence enough to share what you have learned with others. You should be able to defend a Biblical Worldview in the public market place with confidence. You will also have the continued support of Worldview Training Conferences staff and the Touched by the Master Ministry team to help you and keep you informed in the coming years.
